there are so many problems with barcelona right now I can't even count them. did you watch the matches against ajax and athletic? actually lmao even weeks before that first defeat to ajax they were playing terribly. just. what the fuck is going on.
I watched both games and was appalled by the defending in both (pique’s attempts yesterday were particularly bizarre imo). the lack of trust in bartra is very confusing as well. the pique/masche pairing has been problematic to say the least and I seriously doubt marc could do much worse. and then there’s the final ball situation, which neither xavi, andres, cesc, etc. are providing often enough. I think it’s a combination of a very shaky defense and our top players not being at their best (far from it), and the result can be quite messy, but fortunately there’s still enough time to fix it and eager kids to prove themselves (which hopefully will happen but who even knows anymore).
/post/35937067219/ your tags?? I thought you were talking about Liverpool cause to this day people there love him and want him back but??? in Spain?????? (Also I'm sorry I'm so creepy but GURL YOUR BLOG IS JUST TOO INTERESTING I WANT TO READ EVERYTHING HERE)
omg anon that was a year ago, that’s some dedication right there (I’m flattered tho, thank you! I’m glad you find my ramblings interesting lmao).
I was referring to atletico de madrid ofc, as in, the only place he’s still loved in and will forever be loved no matter what is (hopefully) atleti.
“Brienne’s story is an adaptation of a traditionally male narrative, one that usually sidelines or victimises female characters. She swears fealty to a woman, as male knights swear to their liege lord, because she respects that woman’s strength, her bravery and her kindness. She goes on a quest to save the beautiful maiden, but not to marry her or benefit from the quest in any way, but to return her to her mother. Because she cares for Catelyn, and because it is the right thing to do. It is a story of a woman, rescuing a woman, for the sake of another woman. It is a rare story where the mother, the young girl and the shieldmaiden are all given equal weight and worth. Brienne, despite taking on many stereotypically male traits, is not “one of the boys” or in any way dismissive of her gender as a group. She does not fit into the role that society has assigned for her, but she does not disparage those who do. She uses her strength and her skill to respect and help other women in ways that most men in Westeros would never even think to attempt, because she understands, more than any other knight, that women are truly worth something as individuals.”—“There Are No True Knights: Brienne of Tarth” @ Feminist Fiction (via amstibovvered)
“I smelt your scent on the seatbelt,” he sings on Cornerstone, which may just be the best thing Arctic Monkeys have ever recorded. The lyrics are a dazzling display of what Turner can do: a fabulously witty, poignant evocation of lost love, packed with weirdly suggestive details. The music is a long, wistful acoustic sigh, the melody so effortlessly lovely that you can’t believe no one’s come up with it before. - Alexis Petridis
